Creating a new character

So this is a drawing I did today of the sort of direction I want to take with one of my characters in a story I am planning. He will be an elf with a gloomy temperament but who discovers an ancient power rests within him thought lost to his race.

My planning of the main story has actually moved away from having this guy as central, but he was where my inspiration sparked and I know he will doubtlessly be an important figure. As it stands this is the first physical direction I have taken towards my new story, but if you could let me know what you think of or how you feel about the look of this character let me know.

He is also - as yet - unnamed, I'm not just withholding  information needlessly.

    He does have a gloomy feeling about him. I think it's an engaging quirk, looking at this drawing.

    Thanks Ryan. Yeah I think he will be a dark, possibly menacing character. Not my best drawing, but it brought out the features I wanted.
